Blues Brothers Little Brother: A Soulful Show Must Go On

Blues Brothers Little Brother brought their signature charisma and energy to the stage once again at Live on the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. Known for their electric performances and lively audience interaction, this year was no different despite the rain and cold. One of the lead singers even performed with an arm in a sling after a recent operation, showing the band’s dedication to giving their fans a great show no matter the challenges.

Having photographed the band in both 2023 and 2024, I’ve had the chance to capture their unique energy and connection with the crowd. Whether it’s fun and spontaneous or determined and resilient, their performances never fail to entertain. Blues Brothers Little Brother’s soulful renditions of timeless hits and their incredible musicianship are what make them a go-to act for festivals, weddings, and corporate events.

As an event photographer, I aim to capture authentic, in-the-moment shots that tell the story of the performance. I don’t stage moments, but instead focus on documenting real-time emotions, reactions, and interactions as they unfold. From varied angles to candid audience shots, I look for the genuine essence of an event, whether I’m shooting from the crowd or (when permitted) getting closer to the stage for dynamic editorial-style shots.
