Welcome to my photography workshops! I’m excited to help you learn and create. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, please take a moment to read through my responsibilities and guidelines.

Equipment Responsibility

  • You are responsible for the safety, care, and operation of your own photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, tripods, flashes, and accessories.
  • I cannot be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or malfunction of your equipment during the workshop.
  • I recommend that you carry adequate insurance for your equipment, especially for outdoor and public locations. Please note that I do not provide insurance coverage for personal gear.

Personal Conduct

  • I ask that you treat everyone—models, fellow participants, and the public—with respect and consideration. Disruptive or inappropriate behaviour may result in you being asked to leave the workshop without a refund.
  • Please follow any safety guidelines and instructions I provide to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Model Interaction

  • Interaction with the models should always be professional and respectful. Please follow my directions regarding model posing and interaction. Models should not be touched or directed in any way that may make them uncomfortable.
  • Photos of the models are for your personal portfolio use only unless I agree otherwise in writing. If you wish to use the images commercially, please obtain explicit permission from both me and the models.

Liability and Disclaimers

  • I do not accept liability for any personal injuries, accidents, or health issues that arise during the workshop. I encourage you to have your own personal liability and health insurance.
  • I’m not responsible for unforeseen circumstances, including adverse weather conditions, that may affect the workshop. While I’ll communicate contingency plans where possible, refunds will not be issued for weather-related disruptions unless specified otherwise.
  • I reserve the right to make changes to the schedule or locations as needed. You’ll be notified of any significant changes in advance whenever possible.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • If you’re unable to attend the workshop, please notify me in advance. Refunds are not available unless I can find a replacement participant or if I have a waiting list. A £5 administrative fee will apply to all refunds.
  • If I need to cancel the workshop, you will receive a full refund. However, I am not liable for any additional costs you may incur, such as travel or accommodation.

Emergency Situations

  • In case of an emergency, please follow my instructions and local emergency procedures. If you have any medical conditions or concerns that may affect your participation, it’s your responsibility to inform me..

Image Rights and Releases

  • You are responsible for obtaining the necessary permissions for any images you plan to use commercially. While I will provide model release forms, you must ensure your use complies with all relevant legal requirements.
