The Brief

Models of Diversity wanted full video coverage to showcase their ground-breaking Fashion Revolution Show at London Fashion Week.

Models of Diversity (MOD) needed a full-length documentary-style video of their Fashion Revolution Show at London Fashion Week. The goal was to provide an in-depth portrayal of the event, focusing on inclusivity and showcasing diverse models and designers. They wanted a video for YouTube, their primary platform, with additional short-form content for social media reels.

The Approach

This is where you talk about your journey and how you discovered your genius zone and developed your secret sauce or expertise.

01.

CONSULTATION

I met with Kape’s founders, Eren and Yvette, who shared their story and vision. They wanted a professional touch for their brand’s visual storytelling but needed flexibility for multi-platform content. Together, we brainstormed ideas and examined market trends in food branding to find what would work for their budget and resources.

02.

PRE-PRODUCTION

After our initial consultation, I developed a storyboard and shot list to capture their product in real-world settings. We decided to emphasise the kitchen as a storytelling backdrop, as it reflected Kape’s roots and authenticity. This collaborative planning ensured we had a clear vision for the shoot.

03.

PRODUCTION

I filmed in their family kitchen, capturing authentic moments of spreading, baking, and cooking with Kape’s nut butters. Using multiple camera angles, slow-motion shots, and close-ups, I created dynamic footage that highlighted the product’s appeal. The family’s involvement added warmth and relatability to the videos.

The Outcome

“We were beyond happy with every detail, from the planning to the execution, and will definitely work with Heather again.”

After completing the main video within a couple of weeks, I then created some shorter vertical videos and reels to showcase the designers and the models that could be used for promoting their brands, as well as Models of Diversity
